SheMD operates as a direct care practice and does not contract with any insurance. The Essential GYN Plan costs $750 per year and includes two GYN visits, preferred pricing on additional visits and in-office procedures, portal messaging, and priority scheduling. A la carte per-visit pricing is also available. The Hormone Health Assessment is $647, with lab fees billed separately. Ongoing hormone and metabolic care starts at $1,497 for a 12-week commitment.

SheMD does not accept insurance for visits or membership fees. Dr. Kahan provides superbills so patients can seek out-of-network reimbursement from their insurer. Patients can use their insurance for prescriptions and outside lab work or imaging, including Pap smears, blood tests, mammograms, and breast ultrasounds. SheMD cannot provide care to Medicare beneficiaries due to federal regulations.

Yes. Dr. Kahan sees patients virtually across New York, Florida, and Oregon. In-person visits take place at the Flatiron office in Manhattan at 37 W 26th Street, Suite 717. Patients can choose the format that works best for them.

The Hormone Health Assessment is a 60 to 75 minute appointment. It includes an in-depth symptom and medical history review along with pre-visit lab testing.
