
Deanna Aftab Guy earned her MD from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in 1991. She completed pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital Medical Center of Akron in 1994. She finished a pediatric endocrinology fellowship at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in 2002. She later earned an MBA from Belmont University in 2015. Dr. Guy holds board certification in Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology.
She treats endocrine conditions from infancy through young adulthood, including complex diabetes management. She serves as a Clinical Associate Professor at Belmont’s Thomas F. Frist, Jr College of Medicine. Dr. Guy is passionate about every area of pediatric endocrinology and remains active with JDRF. Outside medicine, she enjoys concerts, especially Paul McCartney, travel, and time with her husband, five children, and bulldogs.
