Open Hands DPC

Open Hands DPC offers a Premium Membership at $45 per month. This tier includes six in-person visits per year, one telemedicine call per month, one text conversation per month, and one In-Depth Screening Lab Bundle per year. A $50 enrollment fee applies to all new members. Families joining the same month pay a maximum of $100 in enrollment fees. The practice bills monthly through the FlexPerx platform via credit card, debit card, FSA, or ACH bank draft.

Yes. Open Hands DPC offers discounted rates for immediate family members, including children up to age 22. The first member pays $45 per month. The second through fifth members each pay $40 per month. The sixth member and beyond pay $20 per month. This makes comprehensive primary care significantly more affordable for larger families.

Open Hands DPC does not bill insurance or any third-party payer for membership or in-office services. Many patients carry insurance alongside their membership for hospitalizations, specialist visits, or imaging. The practice works with patients to find cost-effective options for medications, labs, and referrals regardless of insurance status. Note that Kentucky law currently prohibits Medicaid recipients from entering direct contracts with physicians, so the practice cannot serve Medicaid patients. Medicare patients may participate through a private contract.

Yes. Premium members receive one telemedicine call per month as part of their membership. m. m. After-hours telemedicine visits carry a $35 fee. Holiday telemedicine visits are available for $50.

Yes. 65 per mile from Mt. Sterling. Weekend in-person visits are also available at select times for an additional $20 fee based on availability.

Every in-person appointment runs 30 minutes. Dr. Keller spends that entire time face-to-face with the patient. That schedule allows her to address concerns thoroughly without rushing.

As of January 2026, Open Hands DPC maintains a waiting list for primary care membership. Prospective patients can join the waiting list directly. In the meantime, the practice invites the community to attend Community Wellness Foundations Events at $10 per event to begin building toward better health.

Dr. Keller orders and communicates lab results directly with patients. The In-Depth Screening Lab Bundle costs $36 and includes a CBC with differential, comprehensive metabolic panel, hemoglobin A1C, lipid panel, TSH, and free T4, plus the lab draw fee. Additional low-cost labs are available at itemized pricing. Premium members receive one screening bundle per year as part of their membership.

Yes. Open Hands DPC hosts Community Wellness Foundations Events at $10 per event, covering rest, activity, and nutrition from a biblical perspective. Dr. Keller also runs the P31:17 women's fitness and wellness program via Zoom for $5 per month, free for current members. She hosts Community Prayer Walks at The Clinic and coordinates a CoaTs 4 KiDS coat drive each fall, donating 20 percent of August and September membership fees to the initiative.

Yes. Open Hands DPC offers DEXA scans through a partnership with Morehead Primary Care at a cost of $50. DEXA scans measure bone density and help assess risk for osteoporosis. Dr. Keller incorporates this into her preventive care approach, particularly for patients managing bone health.
