About

At Minor Med PA, Dr. Richard Douglas Iliff has delivered cost-effective family medicine and urgent care to Topeka for nearly four decades. He co-built the practice's Fleming Place location at 1119 SW Gage in 1986. His single guiding priority: keep patients as healthy as possible, as inexpensively as possible. Minor Med operates on two tracks. Walk-in urgent care runs weekdays from 9AM to 8PM and Saturdays from 9AM to 3PM, with no appointment required. The Minor Med Primary Care program offers a monthly subscription model covering a broad range of labs, diagnostics, and in-office procedures at no additional cost. Monthly fees start at $30 for patients under 21 and scale by age bracket. The practice contracts with major insurers for urgent care visits and holds no financial ties to local corporate medical systems. Scott Ford, PA, who speaks fluent Spanish, has supported the practice for nearly 30 years. Spanish-speaking front desk staff are also available weekdays during daytime hours.
