Dr. Michael Beckham is a board-certified internal medicine physician with 29 years of clinical experience. He earned his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Tennessee, Memphis College of Medicine, in 1991. He completed his internship there from 1991 to 1992. He then completed his internal medicine residency there from 1992 to 1994. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Beckham graduated summa cum laude from Vanderbilt University with a BA in Chemistry. He served as Chief Medical Officer for Tristar Medical Network from 2014 through 2021. He practices at Summit Medical Center and has held multiple leadership roles in the Nashville Academy of Medicine. He is passionate about individualized, science-based care that also supports psychological and spiritual health. Outside medicine, he enjoys reading, writing, mountain biking, swimming, hiking, and spending time with family.
