At Medicina Del Sol Integrative Healthcare, personalized and accessible care guides every clinical decision. Deborah Thorne, DMSc, PA, CIPP founded the practice in Las Cruces, NM in 2019 with a clear goal: build healthcare that works for patients whether or not they carry insurance. The practice began in a 400-square-foot adobe room and has since grown into a 4,000-square-foot space on Missouri Ave. In 2020, the Greater Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce nominated the practice for its Innovation Award in healthcare. Hector Lerma, MD, PharmD joined as co-founder in 2023, adding Internal Medicine and shaping the practice into a hybrid model. Together, the two clinicians cover a wide range of services: primary care, internal medicine, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, medical weight loss with semaglutide, integrative acupuncture, cupping, manual lymphatic drainage, red light therapy, and medical Botox. The practice also runs group ketamine therapy sessions. Members receive direct access, discounted labs, medications nearly at cost, and virtual visits.
