Marin Medical Concierge operates on a membership and retainer model. Dr. Cummings limits her patient panel to keep her practice small enough to give each member thorough, unhurried attention. Membership unlocks same-day access, longer appointments, and direct physician contact.

Standard office visits run 30 minutes. If you need more time, you can request a longer appointment. Visits start on time, and Dr. Cummings allocates the full appointment to address your concerns.

Yes. Marin Medical Concierge schedules same-day or next-day appointments for acute concerns. The practice staff answers calls and returns messages the same day, so you can reach someone quickly when you need care.

Marin Medical Concierge operates as a membership-based practice. Laboratory work for annual physicals is paid by Dr. Cummings directly. Additional labs can be processed through Quest Diagnostics without an out-of-pocket fee, or arranged at home through All Access for an out-of-pocket fee.

The annual wellness visit includes a full physical exam, comprehensive labs covering CBC, lipids, liver, kidney, thyroid, glucose, urinalysis, and PSA for men. Dr. Cummings also performs an ECG, pulmonary function testing, InBody body composition testing, and an advanced cardiovascular risk assessment. End-of-life care planning is part of the visit as well.

Dr. Cummings conducts home visits and nursing home visits for members on a non-urgent basis. Patients schedule these in advance. For after-hours emergencies, members reach Dr. Cummings directly by cell phone on weekends and holidays.

Marin Medical Concierge runs several rapid diagnostics on site. Respiratory infection testing takes place in the parking lot with results in about one hour. Urinary dipstick results are ready in 15 minutes. Rapid strep testing returns results in approximately 30 minutes. The practice also provides ECG, pulmonary function testing, and InBody body composition analysis.

The practice uses the Athena Portal as a central records repository. It connects with Surescripts for all pharmacies and interfaces with CareEverywhere and MyChart at UCSF, Sutter, and Stanford, among other institutions.

Marin Medical Concierge focuses on adult patients. Dr. Cummings specializes in internal medicine and directs her care toward the adult population.
