at Marable Personal Healthcare — Franklin, TN
Dr. Charles Marable, M.D., is a board-certified family physician and the founder of Marable Personal Healthcare (MPH), "Tennessee's first concierge medical" practice, located in Franklin, Tennessee.
He earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 1991 and completed his residency in Family Medicine at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. Following his training, Dr. Marable practiced in Little Rock, Arkansas, for five years before relocating to Franklin, Tennessee, in 1999, where he established his innovative practice model to prioritize personalized, accessible care.
With a commitment to preserving the traditional patient-physician relationship, Dr. Marable designed MPH as a concierge practice with a deliberately limited patient panel. This allows him to offer direct access without intermediaries—providing same-day appointments, extended visit times, no waiting rooms, and communication via phone, text, or email. He personally handles primary care, preventive services, chronic disease management (such as hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, asthma, and arthritis), executive physicals tailored to individual health goals, urgent care needs, specialist referrals, and healthcare system navigation. The practice includes house calls and virtual visits when appropriate, and Dr. Marable maintains hospital privileges at Williamson Medical Center.
Beyond clinical care, Dr. Marable has served as a staff physician at Daytona International Speedway for 10 years and has participated in medical relief work in Haiti and Nigeria.
