At Lisa E. Babitz, MD, Dr. Babitz brings nearly four decades of private practice experience to a deeply personal approach to internal medicine. She took over a 50-year midtown Manhattan practice in 1986 and built it into a multi-generational patient community. Today her practice spans patients from across New York City, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Long Island.

Dr. Babitz holds dual board certifications in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. She personally takes patient histories and conducts her own examinations, without delegating to nurses or physician assistants. Her annual Wellness Programs address cardiovascular health, diabetes prevention, brain health, and early cancer detection. As a fellowship-trained geriatrician, she specializes in healthy aging, medication simplification, and coordination of complex care. She affiliates with Mount Sinai West and Lenox Hill Hospital for inpatient needs.
