About
At Koru Health PLLC, Dr. Jessica "Nikki" Myhre DO built a Direct Primary Care practice around one guiding belief: that the doctor-patient relationship is medicine's most powerful tool. She founded the Port Angeles, Washington practice in August 2020. The name Koru comes from the Maori language, referencing the spiral shape of an unfurled fern. It represents new beginnings, growth, strength, and hope. Dr. Myhre believes health can be achieved at any age.
Koru Health serves patients ages 10 through 110 across family medicine and osteopathic care. Members reach Dr. Myhre through secure text via the Spruce app, secure voicemail, a patient portal, video visits, and in-person clinic visits. First appointments run 60 to 75 minutes; follow-up visits typically run 30 to 45 minutes. The practice also offers Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment to both members and non-members, with priority given to infants, children, and pregnant mothers. Travis Myhre manages the business operations, allowing Dr. Myhre to focus entirely on patient care.
