About
At Iris Integrative Health, Dr. Michelle Suber and Dr. Aimee Baird bring together naturopathic and conventional medicine under one roof. The Kamuela practice holds the distinction of being Hawaii's first and only integrative direct primary care practice. Dr. Suber co-founded it in 2016 alongside the late Dr. Buzz Hollander, whose legacy of warmth and intellectual rigor still shapes the clinic's culture.
The practice treats the full spectrum of health needs, from prevention and lifestyle optimization to serious chronic conditions including diabetes, heart disease, autoimmune illness, and cancer. Members receive personalized care plans, same-day scheduling, telehealth consultations, house calls, and access to educational courses and healthy outdoor experiences. Iris also offers Vasper technology, a compression-and-cooling exercise system available to both members and the broader community. Both physicians bring more than two decades of clinical experience to their patients in Waimea.
