Yes. HouseCalls, PLC offers a free initial consultation so prospective patients can meet Dr. Spiekermann before enrolling. The practice does not collect the first monthly payment until after that in-person meeting. Any medical care beyond the initial consult requires enrollment.

HouseCalls, PLC does not bill insurance for membership fees. Dr. Spiekermann collects fees directly from patients only. The practice recommends that members maintain insurance coverage for emergencies, hospitalizations, imaging, and specialist visits. Membership does not replace a health insurance plan.

HouseCalls, PLC passes wholesale lab pricing directly to patients with no markup. 50. Patients pay only when labs fall outside what their insurance covers, or when they choose not to use insurance.

Yes. HouseCalls, PLC recommends that all members carry health insurance. Membership covers primary care visits and direct access to Dr. Spiekermann, but it does not cover hospitalizations, specialist visits, or expensive imaging studies. A higher-deductible plan often pairs well with a DPC membership.

Yes. House calls are central to the practice. Members on the House-Calls Plan at $90 per month receive unlimited house calls at no additional charge. Members on the In-Clinic Plan can still schedule house calls for an additional per-visit fee, with pricing disclosed in advance.

Each appointment at HouseCalls, PLC runs a full hour. Dr. Spiekermann schedules one hour of dedicated time per visit. That allows thorough conversations and careful attention to each patient's concerns.

Yes. Medicare and Medicaid patients can enroll at HouseCalls, PLC. Each patient signs a one-time waiver confirming that neither the patient nor the practice will bill Medicare or Medicaid for practice services. Existing Medicare and Medicaid coverage remains unchanged for all other providers.

No. HouseCalls, PLC does not offer gynecological or maternal-infant care. The practice can provide referrals to DPC providers who specialize in those services.
