About
At Holistic Integration, Dr. Robert C. Prather leads a multidisciplinary clinic built around one guiding principle: the body is intelligent, interconnected, and constantly communicating. The Indianapolis practice operates under the Structure Function Care model, one of two FDA-recognized models of medical care in the United States. Rather than treating symptoms, the practice investigates systems and measures what matters. Formerly known as The Prather Practice, the clinic has served patients for over 40 years.
The practice brings together an unusually broad range of services under one roof. Dr. Prather offers functional medicine, Atlas Orthogonal chiropractic care, acupuncture, spinal decompression, and Eastern therapies alongside advanced cardiac support through the Holistic Heart program. Diagnostics include Electro Meridian Imaging, NutrEval, GI Stool Kit, food sensitivity testing, ANS testing, EKG, Holter Heart Monitor, and the proprietary Prather Profile bloodwork panel. Three on-site spa rooms support massage therapy six days per week. The practice also runs corporate wellness programs and Health Management programs covering conditions such as diabetes, thyroid disorders, heart disease, and PCOS.

Frequently Asked Questions
Structure Function Care is one of two FDA-recognized models of medical care in the United States. Holistic Integration uses this model to investigate the root causes of health issues rather than managing symptoms. The goal is to bring the entire body back to homeostasis through a combination of structural, functional, and Eastern therapies.
The Holistic Heart program delivers all-inclusive, non-invasive cardiac care. New patients start with a $250 candidacy exam that includes a cardiologist visit and diagnostic testing. The core treatment is External Counterpulsation (ECP) therapy, which consists of 35 one-hour sessions over approximately seven weeks. The program also incorporates cardiac rehab, acupuncture with Electro Meridian Imaging, auriculotherapy, and functional health coaching.
New chiropractic patients at Holistic Integration pay a $125 deposit to secure their appointment. That deposit applies toward the total cost of the visit, so it does not add to the final bill.
Yes. The practice offers a complimentary ProBalance Assessment as an introductory evaluation. This gives prospective patients a starting point before committing to a full treatment plan.
Holistic Integration uses an extensive range of diagnostics. These include the Prather Profile bloodwork panel, NutrEval, GI Stool Kit, food sensitivity testing, hair analysis, Electro Meridian Imaging, Electro Dermal Screening, ANS testing, spirometry, EKG, Holter Heart Monitor, Fit-3D body scanning, calcium scores, and chest X-ray. This range allows the practice to build a thorough picture of each patient's health before designing a treatment plan.
The practice runs Health Management programs for a range of chronic conditions. These include fat loss, women's health concerns such as PCOS and endometriosis, kidney disease, heart disease, thyroid conditions, IBS, and diabetes. Each program combines nutritional coaching, diagnostic management, meal planning, and ongoing provider oversight.
Yes. The practice offers a Corporate Wellness Program designed to reduce healthcare costs and hospital utilization for employer groups. The program projects significant reductions in hospital admissions, pharmaceutical costs, and adverse health events for participating employees.

Patients with overlapping concerns receive a single integrated treatment plan.
