About
At Hill Country Lifestyle Medicine, co-founders Dr. Venkat Srinivasan and Dr. Ajeya Joshi built a practice around a single conviction: every physician should treat the whole patient, not just the symptom. After nearly 20 years of clinical practice each, they pursued additional training and earned board certification from the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine. The six-physician San Antonio practice integrates evidence-based therapeutic approaches across primary care, internal medicine, and family medicine to treat, reverse, and prevent chronic disease.
The practice organizes its clinical philosophy around six pillars: eating smarter, moving more, sleeping more soundly, managing stress better, cultivating relationships, and avoiding risky substances. Signature programs include 100 Days to Health, a 100-day group coaching program led by a physician and nutritionist, and SMART, a Stress Management and Resilience Training program rooted in the relaxation response research of Harvard physician Dr. Herbert Benson. The clinical team manages a broad range of conditions, from diabetes and hypertension to sleep apnea, depression, and Parkinson's disease. The practice also offers telemedicine appointments and accepts insurance.
