Gessling Family Wellness

Adult membership for ages 19 to 64 runs $70 per month. Children ages 0 to 18 pay $30 per month when enrolled with an adult member. Adults 65 and older pay $60 per month. A family of three or more pays $145 per month. A one-time enrollment fee of $200 per member applies, and the first three months of service are due upfront on the day of the first appointment.

Membership includes unlimited appointments during clinic hours, 30-minute office visits with no copays, and direct access to Dr. Gessling by cell phone, email, or telehealth. The practice charges no copayments, co-insurance, or deductibles. Telehealth visits are available free every day of the week. Most in-office procedures and tests are included in the membership fee.

Gessling Family Wellness does not bill insurance, including Medicare or Medicaid, for clinic services. Medicare patients sign a one-time waiver. The practice does partner with health sharing programs including Impact Health Sharing, Christian Healthcare, Liberty, Medi-Share, and Samaritan. Members may also use HSA or FSA funds toward membership fees.

Yes. Members have direct access to Dr. Gessling via cell phone, email, and telehealth 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The practice encourages members to call before heading to an emergency room or urgent care clinic.

Yes. The practice offers both telemedicine and house calls. Telehealth visits are available to members every day of the week at no additional charge. Virtual home visits are also part of the membership. House calls are available for situations that require in-person care outside the office.

Gessling Family Wellness operates three locations in Mid Missouri. The Macon office is at 205 E 2nd St. The Columbia office, which relocated from Boonville as of January 5, 2026, is at 908 Rain Forest Parkway Suite C, Columbia, MO 65202. The Chillicothe office is at 443 Locust St.

GFW Healing Energy is a separate division of Gessling Family Wellness that offers energy-based therapeutic and aesthetic services. Services include infrared sauna, PEMF mat, Neo Slim body sculpting, BrainTap, Avacen XL, Avazzia microcurrent therapy, hyperbaric bed, hair laser regrowth, InnerSlim facial, Ion Rain Chair, and cold ultrasound. These services are available to both members and non-members, individually or through a separate monthly membership.

Yes. When the practice panel reaches capacity, Dr. Gessling establishes a waitlist for prospective new patients. Interested patients can submit a waitlist form and select their preferred location: Macon, Columbia, or Chillicothe. The practice contacts new members on Mondays and Fridays during normal business hours.

No. Gessling Family Wellness accepts patients of all ages and does not turn away anyone based on pre-existing conditions. The practice offers tiered membership pricing for children, adults, and seniors to keep care accessible across every life stage.

Yes. Gessling Family Wellness accepts HSA and FSA funds toward membership fees. Patients should confirm eligibility with their HSA or FSA administrator, as rules can vary by plan.
