Family Direct Care

Monthly membership fees at Family Direct Care range from $90 to $175 per month, depending on the patient's age. Adults aged 18 to 44 pay $100 per month. Reduced family rates apply when two or more family members enroll together. A one-time registration fee of $100 per person applies at enrollment, with a cap of $200 per family.

Family Direct Care does not accept insurance for membership fees or office visits. The practice operates on a direct-pay model. Many members choose to keep a high-deductible insurance plan for catastrophic coverage while relying on Family Direct Care for the majority of their primary care needs.

Membership includes same-day or next-day visits, extended appointment times, and direct access to your physician by text, email, or video chat. Clinical services include preventive care, chronic disease management, annual well-woman exams, wound care, laceration repair, joint injections, abscess drainage, minor lesion and growth removals, family planning counseling, and sports physicals. Members also receive negotiated cash-pay rates on lab work, imaging, and prescriptions, plus access to the on-site pharmacy at wholesale medication prices.

Prospective patients enroll through the practice's online platform powered by Atlas MD. The $100 registration fee is due at enrollment. Your monthly subscription does not begin until your first visit, and the practice pro-rates that first month. Note that submitting the registration fee does not establish you as an active patient; medical care begins after your initial appointment.

Yes. Family Direct Care members reach their physician directly by text, email, or video chat. This access allows patients to address many concerns without scheduling an in-person visit. When away from home, members can often receive a diagnosis and prescription remotely without paying for urgent care.

Family Direct Care currently serves patients aged 11 and older. The practice has a goal to expand its age range to include newborns in the future.

Yes. Members can connect with their physician via video chat, phone, or secure messaging. Telemedicine visits allow the practice to address many acute and follow-up concerns remotely, which is especially useful when patients travel or cannot come into the office.

Yes. Family Direct Care offers tailored DPC plans for businesses. Employers can enroll their workforce as members, and the practice provides on-site annual wellness visits so employees receive care without leaving their workplace.
