About

At Elite Medicine, Dr. Richard Hobbs and Dr. Amitha Ravulapati deliver concierge primary care to families and adults throughout the Triangle region of North Carolina. Dr. Hobbs founded the practice in 2006 and relaunched it in 2023. Dr. Ravulapati joined in 2024, expanding the team's clinical reach. The practice operates without a physical office; both physicians make house calls and conduct most of their work directly with patients in their homes or via telemedicine.

Every new patient begins with a 120-minute Foundational Visit covering medical history, current needs, and future health goals. The practice covers a wide clinical range, from pediatric and adolescent care to adult and internal medicine, performance and longevity, weight management, and travel medicine. Elite Medicine partners with The Endurance Edge in Cary for performance testing including VO2 max, lactate threshold, resting metabolic rate, and body composition. The practice intentionally keeps patient volume low and will open a waiting list once spots fill. Elite Medicine welcomes anyone over age 5, including Medicare patients.
