Dragonfly Direct Primary Care

Dragonfly Direct Primary Care charges a flat monthly fee of $65 to $120 per month. The membership includes unlimited visits with no copays, no deductibles, and no surprise bills. Starting January 1, 2026, members can use HSA funds to pay DPC fees up to $150 per month.

Dragonfly does not accept insurance for membership fees. Patients pay a flat monthly fee directly to the practice. Members who carry insurance can still use it for services outside the practice, such as specialist visits, imaging, or hospital care.

New patients can schedule a free one-hour consultation with Dr. Newland to get started. This initial visit lets you meet Dr. Newland, review your health history, and decide whether the practice is a good fit before enrolling.

Yes. Dragonfly offers same-day appointments for sick patients. Dr. Newland also provides telehealth and phone visits for situations where coming into the office is not necessary.

The monthly membership covers unlimited in-person, telehealth, and phone visits. It also includes direct access to Dr. Newland by call, text, or email at no additional cost. Minor procedures such as stitches and ingrown nail removal are covered within the membership fee.

Yes. Dragonfly maintains an at-cost in-house pharmacy. Many prescriptions are available at the appointment itself, at the lowest possible cost to the patient.

Dr. Newland caps his panel at 600 patients. This limit allows him to offer same-day appointments, one-hour visits, and direct access without long waits.

In many cases, yes. Dr. Newland handles acute illness, minor injuries, and same-day concerns within the membership. If a patient needs stitches during business hours, that visit is fully covered. An after-hours urgent line is also available for concerns that arise outside of office hours.

Yes. Dragonfly uses the AtlasMD patient portal for messaging, scheduling appointments, and making payments. The AtlasMD app is also available for download on iOS and Android devices.

No. Insurance is not required to join. Dragonfly operates outside the insurance system, and your membership fee covers the full scope of Dr. Newland's primary care services.
