About
At Cedar Valley Primary Care & Walk-In Clinic, three board-certified physicians deliver family medicine, urgent care, and chronic disease management to patients of all ages. The practice opened in January 2021 as part of Cedar Valley Medical Specialists, a network of independent physicians serving the Cedar Valley region. Walk-in patients are always welcome, and no referral or existing patient relationship is required.
The practice operates both a traditional walk-in model and a Direct Primary Care membership. DPC members pay a flat monthly fee starting at $85 for individuals. Membership includes unlimited office visits, 24/7 telemedicine, and deeply discounted diagnostics. On-site imaging covers X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, DEXA, and bone scans through Advanced Diagnostic Imaging. The practice also runs Cedar Valley Clinical Research, with Dr. James Poock leading studies on Alzheimer's disease and Long COVID.
