Canterbury House Direct Primary Care

Individual membership at Canterbury House costs $120 per month. Family pricing starts at $220 per month for two people, $270 for three, and $320 for families of four or more. The Mother Baby Special, which includes home visits for postpartum mothers and newborns, runs $250 per month. Canterbury House also offers sliding scale memberships for those with financial need and group rates for employers.

Canterbury House does not accept insurance for membership fees. Members pay Dr. Watson directly each month. For certain items like vaccines, lab work, imaging, and devices such as IUDs or Nexplanon, the practice can run costs through your insurance when that gets you the best price. The practice accepts HSA cards and sets up bank transfers or credit card payments for membership fees.

Yes. Canterbury House covers all primary care visits, most urgent care needs, and many concerns that might otherwise require a specialist. It does not replace emergency care, hospital stays, surgery, obstetric care, or imaging and major procedures. The practice recommends members carry some form of insurance or health sharing plan for those situations.

Members reach Dr. Watson by text, phone, email, or video visit through HIPAA-compliant channels. The practice offers same-day or next-day access for urgent concerns. Canterbury House is not a 24/7 clinic, but Dr. Watson responds to after-hours messages as promptly as she can.

Membership covers all office visits for prevention, chronic care, and sick visits. It also includes telemedicine, in-office testing for strep, flu, COVID, urinalysis, and pregnancy, a wide range of in-office procedures, annual blood work including CBC, CMP, TSH, A1c, and lipid panel, two Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment sessions per year, and InBody 580 metabolic testing. Dr. Watson also supports GLP-1 medication management as part of the membership.

Yes. Dr. Watson sees patients of all ages, from newborns through older adults. Family memberships offer discounted monthly rates. For new parents, the Mother Baby Special provides home visits covering postpartum recovery, infant growth evaluation, feeding support, and osteopathy.

Canterbury House caps its panel at around 550 patients total. Dr. Watson keeps the practice intentionally small so each member receives timely, personal care. The practice accepts new members on a rolling basis until that limit is reached.

Yes. Dr. Watson offers virtual visits as part of every membership. Members can connect by video, phone, text, or secure email. Virtual care works well for follow-ups, medication questions, mental health check-ins, and many acute concerns that do not require an in-person exam.

Yes. Dr. Watson performs a broad range of procedures on-site, including Pap smears, skin biopsies and excisions, IUD and Nexplanon insertion and removal, joint injections, suturing, incision and drainage of abscesses, cryotherapy, ear lavage, nail trimming, and lab draws. Most of these procedures carry no additional fee for members beyond the monthly membership. Pathology fees may apply for some specimens.

The Mother Baby Special is a $250-per-month membership tier for postpartum mothers and their newborns. Dr. Watson makes home visits to support postpartum recovery, evaluate infant growth, provide osteopathic treatment, and address feeding concerns.
