Aurora Primary Care

Aurora Primary Care structures membership fees by age group. Teens pay $55 per month as a standalone member or $35 per month when enrolled with an adult. Young Adults pay $75 per month and Adults pay $95 per month. Family enrollment through Aurora TogetherCare starts at $130 per month. The practice does not charge copays, deductibles, or per-visit fees on top of the monthly rate.

Membership covers in-office and virtual primary care visits, same- or next-day appointments, annual wellness visits, EKGs, and a personalized health plan. The practice also provides discounted lab pricing through select vendors and cash-pay imaging pricing. Members reach Dr. Malhotra by phone, video, or secure message through the SigmaMD app at no additional per-contact charge.

Starting January 2026, new federal legislation allows members to use HSA funds to pay for DPC memberships. Aurora Primary Care accepts HSA payments for monthly membership fees beginning that date.

Aurora Primary Care does not bill insurance for membership fees or primary care visits. The practice operates on a direct-pay model with a flat monthly fee. The practice does not currently accept Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE, IHS, or other government insurance programs. Members who carry insurance can keep their coverage for hospitalizations, specialist care, imaging, and major procedures.

Aurora Primary Care offers same- or next-day appointments for both in-office and virtual visits. Appointments run 30 to 60 minutes, giving patients time to address multiple concerns in a single visit. Members never see a random on-call provider; every visit involves Dr. Malhotra directly.

Yes. Dr. Malhotra conducts virtual visits by phone, video, or secure message through the SigmaMD app. Members choose the format that works best for them. Telehealth visits carry the same same- or next-day availability as in-office appointments.

Aurora Primary Care sees patients aged 12 and above. Teens qualify for discounted membership rates, either as standalone members or as part of a family enrollment through Aurora TogetherCare.

Dr. Malhotra manages a broad range of chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disorders, high cholesterol, asthma, COPD, obesity, GERD, and allergies. She also integrates mental well-being and medication management into her chronic care work. Longer appointments allow for regular monitoring and proactive medication adjustments without rushing through the visit.

Aurora Primary Care covers a wide clinical range. The practice handles acute illness, in-office testing including rapid strep, flu, COVID, urine pregnancy, and EKGs, as well as ear wax removal, school and sports physicals, pre-operative evaluations, immunization review, and international travel consultations. Dr. Malhotra also provides lifestyle and nutrition counseling and coordinates specialist referrals when needed.
