AlereMD currently offers Founders Pricing, honored for two years from the time of enrollment. Monthly rates start at $100 for adults aged 18 to 29. Adults aged 30 to 44 pay $190 per month, and those 45 and older pay $220 per month. Food and hospitality industry workers pay a special rate of $100 per month regardless of age. A Founders Family Max of $500 per month covers up to two adults and two adult children in a household, with a 10% reduction for each additional household member.

AlereMD does not accept insurance for membership fees. The membership fee functions as a direct relationship with Dr. Rismyhr, not as an insurance plan. Members may use HSA, HRA, or FSA funds to pay their membership fee. Many members also carry a separate high-deductible insurance plan for hospitalizations or specialist care.

AlereMD accepts debit and credit cards through auto-withdrawal, payable monthly, quarterly, or annually. Members may also pay with Bitcoin or Monero by inquiry. HSA, HRA, and FSA funds apply toward membership fees.

Yes. Dr. Rismyhr offers same-day and next-day appointments for members. He also provides telehealth visits and house calls. For urgent matters outside of regular hours, members can reach him directly through the Spruce platform or by phone and text.

Membership covers a broad range of primary care services. These include comprehensive annual physical exams, preventive care, lifestyle medicine and health coaching, nutrition counseling, weight loss management, polypharmacy review and deprescribing, mental health check-ins, after-hours urgent care, home visits, ergonomic and musculoskeletal screenings, and specialty care coordination. In-office tests for flu and urinalysis are also available.

Prospective members can sign up securely online through the AlereMD website or contact the practice by phone or through the contact form. AlereMD also offers a complimentary non-clinical introductory visit with Dr. Rismyhr so patients can meet him before committing to membership.

Yes. AlereMD actively serves chefs, bartenders, farmers, ranchers, butchers, and others in the food and hospitality industry. Dr. Rismyhr offers a $100 monthly membership rate for these workers and schedules appointments at atypical hours to accommodate shift schedules. He also hosts Industry Tune Up events with ergonomic screenings, blood pressure checks, and direct access to Dr. Rismyhr.

Dr. Rismyhr arranges coverage with a trusted colleague during planned absences. Members retain access to urgent care support during those periods. The practice notifies members in advance of any planned time away.

AlereMD sits on the third floor at 1302 North Shepherd Drive, Houston, TX 77008, in the Houston Heights neighborhood. The building offers free and ample parking. The office design prioritizes a calm, relaxed environment from the reception area through the exam rooms.
