No. The practice does not bill insurance for membership fees or visits. Patients can still use insurance for labs, imaging, medications, and specialist or hospital care. The practice recommends members carry a high-deductible insurance plan or health share for major emergencies.

Members have direct access to Dr. Blackman via secure messaging, text, and email. He typically responds within one business day. If a question requires more depth, the practice schedules a visit rather than handling it through messaging alone.

Yes. The practice extends care to members across Vermont, New York, Massachusetts, Florida, and California. Non-members in those states can book a 60-minute virtual health consultation for $350 or a 30-minute follow-up consultation for $175.

Most visits run 30 to 60 minutes. That time allows Dr. Blackman to address problems thoroughly rather than triage them. Members also receive same-day or next-day scheduling for urgent needs.

Yes. Dr. Blackman provides dedicated support for depression, anxiety, and ADHD as part of his primary care scope. Mental health and emotional wellbeing also form a core component of the Advanced Health Score annual review.

The Advanced Health Score is Advanced Primary Care's 360-degree annual wellness program. It assesses eight domains: brain health and cognition, heart health and EKG, metabolic integrity, mental health and wellbeing, physical durability, sleep, inflammatory and immune health, and sensory wellness. The program measures genuine health, not just the absence of disease.
