Monthly membership fees at Acadia Integrative Medicine vary by age. Children ages 0 to 17 pay $30 per month. Adults ages 18 to 39 pay $60 per month. Adults ages 40 to 64 pay $70 per month. Patients 65 and older pay $85 per month. Families with two adults and two children can enroll together for $150 per month, with each additional child at $30 per month. A one-time enrollment fee of $50 per patient or $100 per family also applies.

Membership covers unlimited office visits, annual wellness exams, well-child exams, sports and school physicals, basic office procedures, acute illness treatment, and minor injury care. The practice charges no co-pays and no hidden fees. Members also receive discounts on lab work and medications, often at half the retail rate.

The practice does not participate in any insurance plans. The monthly membership fee covers primary care services directly. Acadia Integrative Medicine encourages members to maintain insurance for hospitalization, specialist visits, and outside lab work. Maine law requires insurance companies to honor referrals from direct primary care providers on the same terms as in-network providers.

The practice schedules visits within 24 hours in most cases. For urgent issues, same-day appointments are often available. Members can also reach Dr. Seed directly by phone or through the Follow My Health patient portal for after-hours concerns.

Yes. me platform. Patients with a scheduled virtual visit simply enter the online waiting room and the provider joins when ready. Many conditions and follow-up concerns are well-suited to a video visit.

Yes. Acadia Integrative Medicine offers members deeply discounted lab rates for direct-pay testing. 90. For labs drawn in the office and sent to an outside lab, your insurance typically covers those costs as it has in the past.

Yes. The practice serves patients of all ages, from newborns through adults. Well-child exams, sports physicals, and school physicals are all included in the membership fee. Families can take advantage of a discounted family rate covering two adults and two children.

Prospective patients can submit an interest form on the practice website. For DPC membership, the form collects basic contact and health information, and the practice follows up to schedule a first visit. Suzanne Norgang, CNM joins the practice in fall 2025 and will begin accepting women ages 12 to 63 at that time.

Acadia Integrative Medicine coordinates referrals to specialists and manages pre-admission and post-discharge communication with hospital teams. The practice can order imaging, labs, and other services performed outside the office.

She also leads the Empowered Menopause Collective, a physician-led support group for women navigating this transition. Standalone menopause consultations are available for patients not enrolled in the DPC membership.
