About

W. Kevin Watterson, MD earned his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, entering in 1989. He completed residency training in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, then spent approximately a decade practicing Emergency Medicine with the HCA health system in metro Richmond. That front-line experience shaped his conviction that primary care — done well — could prevent much of what he saw in the ER. In 2007, he founded Rockwell Physicians in Salisbury to build exactly that kind of practice.

Dr. Watterson holds board certifications in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. He is passionate about chronic disease management, nutrition, cardiovascular health, gut microbiome health, allergen immunotherapy, and musculoskeletal pain. He serves patients across every life stage, from newborns to great-grandparents.
