Tingyin Tina Chee, MD, FACP, is a board-certified internist and the founder of Updesign Primary Care in Syracuse, New York. She earned her medical degree from New York University in 2014 and completed her Internal Medicine residency at George Washington University in 2017. Her residency included a concentration in Underserved Medicine and Public Health, along with a fellowship in Health Policy. She also holds a Master of Public Administration in Health Policy and Management.
Before opening her own practice, Dr. Chee worked as a hospital physician, taught residents and medical students, and served as the medical director of a community health center. Those roles deepened her commitment to health equity and accessible care. As the child of immigrants, she understands firsthand how gaps in healthcare access affect vulnerable populations.
