Thomas Yatteau, MD, earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed his internship at the University of Minnesota and his residency through Stanford's Affiliated Family Medicine Program. He later joined Stanford's voluntary clinical faculty while running private offices in San Mateo. Dr. Yatteau holds board certification in Family Medicine and maintains hospital privileges at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital and Sutter Medical Center.

Early in his career, Dr. Yatteau served as Director of Quality Assurance for Mills Hospital and as President and Chairman of BayCare Medical Group, the only fully independent physician group spanning San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara counties. He also served as Associate Medical Director for PacifiCare. He was the first physician in his area to reintroduce obstetrics to family practice and pioneered the first free-standing MRI facility, Urgent Care facility, and Hospitalist program in the communities he served. In 2001, he relocated his practice to Sonoma County to be closer to family and went on to build the county's first concierge medical practice. Dr. Yatteau is passionate about treating each patient as a whole person, listening carefully, and acting as a genuine advocate through every stage of care.
