She earned her undergraduate degree Magna Cum Laude from Middle Tennessee State University before completing her medical degree at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Parsons completed her Family Medicine residency with the Healthcare District of the Palm Beaches, which was at the time Florida's only rural family medicine program.
