Dr. Steven Masley founded the practice now operating as Forbes Longevity Center and devoted his medical career to the study of heart disease and aging. He earned fellow designations from the American Heart Association, the American College of Nutrition, and the American Academy of Family Physicians. He served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida and taught programs at both Eckerd College and the University of Tampa.

Dr. Masley published widely in leading medical journals and authored several books on cardiovascular health and aging, including Ten Years Younger, The 30 Day Heart Tune-Up, SMART FAT, and The Better Brain Solution. He spoke at more than 300 physician CME events and gave over 700 public presentations. The Tampa Bay Business Journal recognized him with its Health Care Hero award in 2010. He completed a chef internship at the Four Seasons Restaurant in Seattle and brought that culinary perspective into his patient education work. Dr. Masley has since retired from clinical practice.
