About
Dr. Shari Midoneck earned her BS in Chemistry from Union College, graduating summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. She went on to complete her MD at Weill Cornell Medical College. Her internship, residency, and Infectious Disease fellowship training all took place at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center. After training, she joined the full-time faculty in the Department of Internal Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College. She rose to the rank of Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine and received the rare distinction of Clinical Mentor. Early in her career, she earned induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
Before joining MD² Park Avenue, Dr. Midoneck spent nearly two decades building her practice at the Iris Cantor Women's Health Center. She also served as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs from 2010 to 2013. She continues to teach medical students in the course Essential Practices of Medicine and chairs the Student Engagement Committee for the Weill Cornell Alumni Association Board. She has received multiple Excellence in Teaching awards, including the AOA Voluntary Faculty Teaching Award twice since joining MD². Board certified in internal medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, she has practiced at MD² for thirteen years.
