Scott Waugh, MD earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from Baylor University in 2000, where he received a Valedictorian Scholarship. He went on to earn his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 2004. He completed his internship and Family Medicine residency at Virginia Commonwealth University Chesterfield Family Practice in Richmond, Virginia, earning the Robert Sullins Smith Physician Award in 2007. He then returned to Oklahoma for a Primary Care Sports Medicine fellowship at the University of Oklahoma Department of Family and Preventive Medicine.

Dr. Waugh holds three credentials: Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine, Certificate of Added Qualifications in Primary Care Sports Medicine, and Registration in Musculoskeletal Sonography.
