About
Dr. Rutvic Amin founded Rainari Health after more than 20 years practicing medicine across primary care, inpatient, and hospital settings. He holds double board certification in Family Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Care. He also earned certification as a health and life coach.
Dr. Amin began his career at Reynolds Army Medical Center in Oklahoma, managing 25 to 30 patients daily across preventive, chronic, and urgent care. He later practiced at outpatient and inpatient facilities in Fort Lauderdale, including Westside Regional Medical Center and Broward General Medical Center. At Rochester General Hospital, he served as senior hospitalist, managing complex cases in the CCU, ICU, and step-down units. He held leadership roles there including Lead Physician for Group Portal and membership on the Governance Board and Quality Improvement Committee. As a new intern at Brooklyn Hospital Center on September 11, 2001, he traveled to Ground Zero to support first responders with eye rinses, breathing treatments, and direct care. During the COVID pandemic, he continued frontline work just ten months after open-heart surgery, while considered high risk. A cardiac patient himself, Dr. Amin underwent two major open-heart surgeries before age 45. He is passionate about metabolic health, adrenal and hormonal imbalances, burnout in healthcare professionals, longevity medicine, and mental health for providers. He treats the whole person, drawing on his own experience as a high-stress medical professional, a father of three, and a son caring for aging parents.
