About

Regina Jellicorse Fields, MD, MPH is a board-certified family medicine physician with more than 18 years of experience caring for patients across East Tennessee. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, then completed her medical degree at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. Her Family Medicine residency took place at UT Medical Center in Knoxville, and she later earned a Master of Public Health from East Tennessee State University.

Dr. Fields began her career in outpatient family medicine before spending nearly a decade in hospital medicine. She holds certification as a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner and has pursued advanced training in obesity medicine, functional medicine, and lifestyle medicine. She is passionate about hormone health, perimenopause and menopause care, women's cardiovascular health, brain and cognitive health, and preventive care. A Jefferson County native, Dr. Fields grew up in East Tennessee and spent summers on her grandparents' farms in Hamblen County, where her family operated a greenhouse and florist business. She has been married for 23 years and has two children. Outside the office, she enjoys cooking to Bossa Nova, swimming, and exploring East Tennessee in the fall.
