Dr. Ramona Master brings more than 20 years of experience as a sought-after San Diego physician to her work at MD2 La Jolla. She approaches every patient with the same care she would offer a member of her own family. San Diego magazine has consistently named her a Top Doctor.
Dr. Master earned both her BA and MD from Northwestern University through the prestigious 7-year Honors Program in Medical Education, graduating with multiple honors and merits. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Stanford University Medical Center, where she received the Outstanding Medical Student Teacher award. She began her career as an internist and partner at Menlo Medical Clinic while serving as a clinical instructor in medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine. After 15 years in general primary care, she transitioned to concierge medicine at Scripps Private Internal Medicine Center. She later joined the concierge medicine program at UC San Diego Health before joining MD2. Her clinical focus centers on preventive medicine and chronic disease management. She holds board certification in internal medicine and serves as an Associate of the American College of Physicians.
