Dr. Paul Tritel grew up in Fort Myers, having moved there from Washington, DC at age three. He graduated from Fort Myers High School, then earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Pennsylvania. He went on to Hahnemann University School of Medicine for his Doctorate of Medicine, then completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Florida in Gainesville.

Early in his career, Dr. Tritel practiced as an internist and primary care physician in West Palm Beach. He served as Section Chief of the Hospitalist division at the Veterans Hospital. While in West Palm Beach, he developed a deep interest in end-of-life care through his work at Hospice of Palm Beach County. He holds board certification in both Internal Medicine, earned in 1999, and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Before founding Tritel Concierge Medicine in 2017, he spent more than a decade at Internal Medicine Associates in Fort Myers, serving on the Executive Committee. He belongs to the Lee County Medical Society, the Florida Medical Association, and Independent Physicians of Lee County. His clinical approach is proactive and preventive; he has used advanced tools like the GALLERI multi-cancer early detection blood test to identify disease in asymptomatic patients. He is passionate about knowing each patient fully and spending whatever time their care requires.
