Dr. Paige Walend earned her Bachelor of Arts in Russian and Soviet Studies, with a minor in Biology, from Newcomb College of Tulane University in 1989. She then completed her Doctorate of Medicine at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in 1993. Her internship and Family Medicine residency both took place at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, where she trained from 1993 to 1996.
