Dr. Nathan D. Reed is a board-trained family medicine physician and a native Oregonian who returned home after training to build his practice in Southern Oregon. He graduated from Crater High School in 1999 and went on to earn dual degrees in Microbiology and General Science, with a Chemistry Minor, from Oregon State University. T. Still University in Kirksville, Missouri, then finished a three-year Family Medicine residency in Quincy, Illinois. After residency, he moved back to Oregon to care for his home community.

Dr. Reed is passionate about patient education. His goal is for every patient to understand the health challenges they face so they feel equipped to live well. He gladly works through a full list of concerns at each visit and genuinely enjoys building long-term relationships with patients. Outside the office, he is a lifelong skier who first hit the slopes at Mt. Ashland at age three and now races his five children down the mountain. He also enjoys working with his hands, reading, and tinkering in his shop. He and his wife Tiffany share a faith-centered home, and he has served on a medical mission trip to Haiti.
