Dr. Tarnay brings over 23 years of emergency medicine experience to his role as Assistant Medical Director. He trained at UCLA Medical Center for his residency after earning his degree at Georgetown University Medical School. He has also practiced at two major South Bay hospitals throughout his career.

Dr. Tarnay holds training and experience in emergency medicine, including his residency at UCLA Medical Center and more than two decades of clinical practice. His background spans hospital emergency medicine, disaster response, and urgent procedural care.

Yes. Dr. Tarnay developed an Emergency Medicine program at Nairobi Hospital in Kenya. He has also cared for international disaster victims in the field. This global experience adds significant clinical depth to his work at the Manhattan Beach Center.

Dr. Tarnay treats the full range of urgent and emergency medical conditions, from acute injuries and infections to complex emergencies. He also performs procedures such as stitches and IV infusions. His emergency medicine background allows him to handle high-acuity situations that other primary care settings cannot.

Yes. Dr. Tarnay and the Sollis Health Manhattan Beach team make house calls for services including blood work, stitches, IV infusions, and X-rays. Members can request a house call when coming into the center is not practical.

Dr. Tarnay serves as Assistant Medical Director of the Manhattan Beach Center. In that role, he provides direct patient care and oversees clinical operations at the center alongside his colleague Dr. Tiffany Fischman.
