About
Dr. Michelle Haggerty is the founder and CEO of Fourth Trimester Doc and one of the first physicians in the country boarded in Breastfeeding and Lactation Medicine. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where her capstone project focused on breastfeeding and HIV/AIDS in Uganda. Her public health training continued at the University of Minnesota, where she earned a Master of Public Health with an emphasis on Nutrition and Global Health, including clinical work in Peru. She completed her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL, followed by a Family Medicine residency at United Family Medicine/Allina Health in St. Paul.
Dr. Haggerty deepened her clinical toolkit through a two-year Integrative Medicine fellowship at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine in Tucson.
