Dr. Michael L. Hundert graduated from Rush Medical College in 1975. He completed his internal medicine residency through the Cornell-affiliated program at North Shore University and Memorial Hospitals in New York, earning his board certification in 1978. That same year, he opened his private practice in Little Neck. From 1980 to 1990, he served as director of critical care medicine at Flushing Hospital, adding a board certification in critical care medicine to his credentials. He returned to full-time primary care and earned board certification in geriatric medicine in 1992, with re-certifications in 2004 and 2015.
