About

Dr. Matthew Miller graduated cum laude from Abilene Christian University and earned his medical degree with honors from Texas A&M University System College of Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. There, he rose to Chief Resident in Pediatrics and gained election to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.

Dr. Miller held a joint appointment in the Departments of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at VUMC for over 16 years. In 2021, he moved clinically into the Vanderbilt Executive Health and Concierge Medicine Group while maintaining his faculty role as assistant professor at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Teaching has been a defining part of his career. In 2018, Vanderbilt appointed him to the Academy for Excellence in Education in recognition of his contributions. He holds board certification in both internal medicine and pediatrics and serves as an elected Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Outside medicine, he and his wife Kathryn, a local allergist, enjoy raising their four children and spending time outdoors.
