Matthew J. Kornegay, MD earned his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, cum laude, from the University of South Carolina in 1997. He went on to complete his Doctorate of Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston in 2002. He then trained at the University of Alabama Hospital in Birmingham, completing both his internship and a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency through 2006.
