Dr. Matt Bezzant earned his MD from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency through SAUSHEC, the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium, as part of his Air Force training. He then served eight years as an active duty Air Force physician, earning Company Grade Physician of the Year for the Asia-Pacific region in 2022.

Dr. Bezzant holds dual board certifications in internal medicine and clinical informatics. At Yokota Air Base, he served as Chief Medical Informatics Officer, leading efforts to improve clinical data systems across the Pacific region.
