Mark J. Fleschler, MD, FACP, grew up in Dallas and has spent his entire career there. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin in 1979. He then completed his Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Dallas, Southwestern Medical School in 1984. His internship and internal medicine residency both took place at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, finishing in 1987.
Dr. Fleschler holds dual board certification as a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and as a Diplomate with added qualifications in Geriatric Medicine. He brings clinical expertise in cardiovascular medicine, diabetes, hypertension, and preventive medicine. Since 1988, he has served on the Teaching Internal Medicine Faculty at Texas Health Dallas. He also functions as Medical Director of Medical Staff Services at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, a role he has held since 2010.
