Dr. Mark Barreto has wanted to be a small-town community doctor since age 12. He graduated from The College of Saint Rose in 2000 and went on to earn his MD. He has practiced medicine since 2005 and holds board certification in Family Medicine. After spending 15 years in the traditional healthcare system, he founded Barreto Family Medicine to build the relationship-centered practice he always envisioned.

Dr. Barreto treats a wide range of conditions, including diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, COPD, asthma, ADD/ADHD, anxiety, depression, opioid use disorder, and substance use disorder.
