Dr. Higi has a degree in Biology and his medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He completed his Family Medicine residency at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. Over the following decades, he staffed emergency departments, served patients in small clinics and hospitals across the Four Corners region and the Dakotas, and opened a solo family practice in Cortez, Colorado. He relocated to New Mexico in 2010 with his wife before joining Presbyterian Medical Group's outpatient family medicine team.
