About

Mairead (Mame) Wilson, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician with more than a decade of experience caring for children and adolescents. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science from Harvard University, then spent three years skiing in Aspen, Colorado before committing to medicine. She completed her Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester and trained in pediatrics at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Before founding Personal Pediatrics, Dr. Wilson practiced across a range of settings, including underserved communities, a large suburban practice, and newborn hospital care. She holds a deep respect for parental instincts and listens closely to family concerns when assessing each child. What draws her most to pediatrics is watching children grow and building lasting relationships with their families. Dr. Wilson grew up in Duxbury and still lives there with her husband, three children, and a ten-year-old golden retriever in a 300-year-old house. She serves as medical consultant for Pilgrim Childcare and Preschool and volunteers each spring to speak with local 5th graders about puberty. Outside of medicine, she runs early morning miles with her dog, bikes the beach at low tide, rows, boats in Duxbury Bay, and skis as often as she can.
