About
Dr. Leland Hull founded New England Medicine to practice internal medicine on his own terms: with time, continuity, and genuine investment in each patient. He studied Molecular Biology at Princeton University before earning his MD from Stony Brook University School of Medicine. He then completed his Internal Medicine residency at University Hospitals Case Medical Center, where he received the Ambulatory Excellence Award in 2016. His fellowship in General Internal Medicine and Primary Care took place at Harvard Medical School and the VA Boston Healthcare System. H. Chan School of Public Health.
Dr. Hull holds board certification in Internal Medicine since 2016. The Gold Humanism Honor Society inducted him in 2012, and Alpha Omega Alpha inducted him in 2015. Before opening New England Medicine, he practiced academic internal medicine and conducted clinical research at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. That academic foundation continues to inform how he practices: with evidence-based rigor and careful clinical judgment. His clinical interests include women's health and menopause care, preventive genomics, individualized risk assessment, and chronic disease prevention. He chose Wellesley as home for this practice because he wanted to invest deeply in the local community he lives in.
