Leila C. Morris, MD grew up in Sarasota, Florida, and returned to New England for her education. She earned three degrees from Boston University: a Bachelor of Arts, Magna Cum Laude, in Biology with a Spanish Minor; a Master of Arts in Medical Sciences; and her Medical Degree in 1997. She then completed her Family Medicine Internship and Residency at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, where her peers and faculty selected her as Chief Resident.
After two years in a group practice in Cary, North Carolina, Dr. Morris returned to South Florida and opened her solo practice in Coral Springs in 2002. She continues her education through coursework in Functional and Nutritional Medicine, Weight Management, and BioIdentical Hormone Replacement.
