Dr. Laurie A. Troup brings a career built on communication and genuine compassion for patients. She grew up in Illinois and spent years practicing across the Midwest before settling in Naples in 2012. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in French with a Chemistry minor from Hanover College and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Illinois Benedictine College. She then completed her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and her Internal Medicine Residency at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois. The American Board of Internal Medicine has board-certified her, and she holds licensure from The Florida Board of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her Maintenance of Certification recertification exam in 2013 and finished Maintenance of Certification activities in 2024.
Before founding Midwest Concierge of Naples in 2015, Dr. Troup served as Assistant Clinical Professor of Internal Medicine at LECOM in Erie, Pennsylvania from 2001 to 2008. She held the role of Associate Director of Clinical Studies for the Independent Study Pathway in 2002, and LECOM named her ISP Faculty Member of the Year in 2007. Her clinical experience includes memory care and post-surgical rehabilitation, and she has treated patients from Canada, Bermuda, Germany, and Switzerland. She holds a staff membership at Naples Community Hospital and serves on the Collier County Medical Society. Naples Illustrated has recognized her as a Top Doctor.
